We as Saxon Solutions offer a container that has been converted into a clinic ward to alleviate the pressures that are being exerted on our country through the Covid 19 pandemic.
These Clinics are cost effective which will assist in economic pressure.
Container clinics can be deployed quickly and affordably.
Options and Extras
Each unit has the option to be fitted with a variety of different extras to suit the needs of the environment it will be used. For example air-conditioners.
Ramps can be fitted to help the elderly and disabled to enter and exit the units freely and easily
Hand rails and additional support structures can be installed in bathrooms and along bed sides to assist patients and doctors/nurses when attending to patients.
Isolation rooms can be fitted for those whom have fallen ill to Covid 19 which will help stop the spread of infection to vulnerable patients.
With this innovative way of converting containers into Clinics you are no longer limited to one location as containers can be moved at any time.
Bathrooms and Ablutions
The units include 3 bathrooms on the 12 meter containers. Each bathroom includes a running shower with hot water, a standard flushable toilet and a wash basin. The Bathroom is portioned off for privacy from the rest of the room.
Power and sewage
Sewage and ablutions
The containers are fitted with a plug and play system for sewage meaning the sewage lines will run directly into the municipality infrastructure with a simple connection to the frame work of the container.
Power and electricity
Power can be provided by the Eskom grid through simple installation to the container DB board.
Alternatively, if Eskom cannot supply power an additional container can be built with a diesel generator to supply electricity in remote locations.
Clinic application
Multiple containers clinic units can be placed together in order to form one full sized clinics with in house doctors and /or nurses.
Clinic capacity
Clinics can house up to 3 beds per room therefore if one has 10 units that allows for 90 beds and 30 bathrooms. This proves effective as it is cheaper per square meter compared to building hospitals, it also requires little manufacturing time compared to building.
